Source, medium, campaign, term and content, plus the optional campaign ID.
Build campaign URLs with UTM parameters so Google Analytics can show exactly which ads, emails and posts bring you visitors. Fill in the fields and copy a clean, correctly encoded link.
Existing query strings and #fragments are kept intact, and everything is built privately in your browser.
UTM parameters are short tags added to the end of a link — such as utm_source=newsletter — that tell your analytics tool where a visit came from. When someone clicks a tagged link, the source, medium and campaign are recorded with their session.
Without them, traffic from emails, social posts and ads often gets lumped together as "direct" or "referral". Tagging your links makes campaign reporting accurate.

Quick answers about using the MoSanKit UTM Link Builder.
Source, medium and campaign are the three most important and are required here. Term (paid keywords), content (to tell similar links apart) and ID are optional.
Use lowercase. Analytics treats "Email" and "email" as different values, which splits your reports. This tool lowercases values by default.
Tagged links point to the same page, and search engines treat them as that page when it has a canonical tag. Avoid using UTM links for internal links on your own site, because they can overwrite the visitor's original source.
Yes. GA4 reads utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign automatically and shows them in acquisition reports.
They are kept. The UTM values are added to them, and any old UTM values are replaced.
