Results are estimates for a fixed-rate loan with equal monthly payments. Real loans may add fees, insurance or a different way of calculating interest, so check with your lender.
An EMI (equated monthly instalment) is the fixed amount you pay your lender each month until a loan is repaid. Each payment covers the interest for that month plus part of the original amount you borrowed.
Early payments are mostly interest; over time more of each payment goes toward the principal. An amortization schedule shows exactly how that split changes every month.

Quick answers about using the MoSanKit Loan EMI Calculator.
EMI = P × r × (1 + r)ⁿ ÷ ((1 + r)ⁿ − 1), where P is the loan amount, r is the monthly interest rate (annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100) and n is the number of monthly payments.
Yes. With a 0% rate the loan is simply divided into equal payments.
Interest is charged on the outstanding balance, which is highest at the start. As the balance falls, more of each payment reduces the principal.
No. It covers principal and interest only. Processing fees, insurance and other charges would add to the real cost.
It may differ slightly if the lender compounds interest differently, uses daily balances or adjusts for the number of days in each month. Always rely on the lender's official quote.
No. Calculations happen in your browser and nothing is saved or sent.
